The Problem

Uganda is ranked among the to six countries in Africa with atleast 14 million mental health disorder cases;
Rate of depression - 4.6%.
Living with anxiety - 2.9%.
35 out of 100 Ugandans may be battling a mental health challenges high pricing of services ranging from 50,000 to 300,000 per hour.
Depression and anxiety by Gender;
5.1% females; 3.6% Males.
Statistics now made worse with COVID-19.

Increase access to accurate, affordable and youth friendly mental health information and linkage to services for young people through advocacy and awareness creation.

Influence mental health laws, policies, budgeting and accountability for young people’s mental health in Uganda.

Create and foster opportunities to share our stories, knowledge, skills and innovations to strengthen the mental health environment in Uganda.

To create, leverage, and welcome partnerships and collaborations with institutions, government, private sectors, CSO, development agencies and individuals in and out of Uganda, to advance, invest and grow a sustainable mental health environment for young people in Uganda.
